M/S Prince Abbas named “The Best Cruise Ship on Lake Nasser 2007.
M/S Prince Abbas Award

On the occasion of the World Tourism Day 2007, the M/S Prince Abbas was honored with the award of “Best Cruise Ship on Lake Nasser 2007” by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. Based on a wide range of criteria that includes among others safety, quality service and overall experience on board, the M/S Prince Abbas is the first ship on Lake Nasser to receive this recognition.

Mövenpick and NEC sign 2 more agreement for the M/S The Royal Lily and the M/S Prince Abbas.
Nile Exploration has strengthened the partnership with Mövenpick by signing two more management agreements with the Swiss hotel chain. Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts shall manage the upcoming M/S The Royal Lily as well as take over management of the prestigious M/S Prince Abbas on Lake Nasser.
“The positive and well-functioning partnership between us and Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in conjunction with Royal Lotus formed the basis for the signing of a further management agreement,” explains Nagui Erian, Chairman of Nile Exploration Group. “We are delighted that the internationally successful hotel group with Swiss roots is set to operate two further deluxe cruisers from our company.”

Mövenpick M/S Royal Lotus Named ‘The Best Nile Cruise Ship 2006’

The new Mövenpick M/S Royal Lotus has been setting new standards since it began operations between Aswan and Luxor in November 2005. Now the luxury Nile cruiser has just been awarded the accolade of ‘The Best Nile Cruise Ship’ by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. The high-ranking award was presented in Cairo on 27 September 2006. The award was based on a number of key criteria such as the safety and comfort on board, the modern design, outstanding gastronomy, and first-class service.
“We’re very proud to have been honored by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism with this prestigious award,” says Hubert Klemenz, Vice President Operations Egypt Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. “Our flagship has been widely praised for its comfort and the spacious layout of both the passenger cabins and the public areas.”

Mövenpick new flagship, Mövenpick M/S The Royal Lotus, has embarked on her maiden voyage and begun operating between Luxor and Aswan. All guests on board praised the ship and her crew for the comfort and quality service provided.

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts to manage the upcoming M/S The Royal Lotus.
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts (MH&R) have signed a contract to manage the new deluxe Nile cruiser M/S The Royal Lotus. The 62 cabin ship is set to be completed by November 2006. "We chose Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts for Royal Lotus as they are a serious management company with a superb reputation", said Nagui Erian, Chairman of Nile Exploration Corporation. "We are delighted with our new partner, Nile Exploration Corporation, as they are known for setting new standards for cruise passengers", said Andreas Mattmüller, Senior Vice President Middle East MH&R. "With fewer guest cabins than is usual, the accommodation is generous with more amenities. The design also allows for very spacious public areas." "The experienced crew of around 70 employees gives a substantially higher staff to passenger ratio than normal", continued Andreas Mattmüller, "which will ensure truly personal service and attention to detail."

M/S The Royal Serenade Awarded for the third straight year
For the third straight year, M/S The Royal Serenade has received the “Recognition of Contribution to Tourism in Egypt” Award. The award was presented to Managing Director Nagui Erian by His Excellency Minister El Beltagui. “We are honored once again by this award and wish to thank the Ministry of Tourism for this prestigious recognition” stated Mr. Erian “It is always a pleasure to see that consistent emphasis on quality is rewarded and we are very proud of the entire Nile Exploration Team.”
